The Iowa Entrepreneur Network (IEN) provides Iowa entrepreneurs and investors with a community to integrate entrepreneurial expertise and interests across the state. The program goal is to provide information resources in a single online location for Iowa entrepreneurs and those associated with them. This will ultimately create a critical mass of talent and other resources to help entrepreneurs accelerate the growth of Iowa business and career opportunities.
The IEN contains:
- “Best Practices” reference materials for entrepreneurs needing reference help to better understand the technology of new business development and for investors seeking to learn more about how to invest in those businesses.
- Links to available investment resources for both potential investors and for those seeking investment.
- Links to professional organizations and trade associations that are looking to assist entrepreneurs.
- Links to self-teaching aids at entrepreneurial websites nationwide to provide training and encouragement for Iowa entrepreneurs and investors.
- Links to organizations within Iowa, including business accelerators, the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Centers and local entrepreneurial development groups, to encourage entrepreneurs and investors.
